马库斯（Xavier Samuel 饰）与莉丝（Georgina Haig 饰），格雷格（Bob Morley 饰）与尼娜（Sophie Lowe 饰）这两对情侣相约驱车旅行。在荒凉寂静的国道上，他们与一辆巨型的卡车发生龃龉，继而被对方撞出国道。虽然侥幸逃生，但是格雷格遭遇严重骨折，危在旦夕。经过一番紧急施救，马库斯暂时为好友做好包扎。这时，他们发现那辆卡车正停在不远的地方，而司机不知去向。不久司机持枪向四人袭来，紧急关头，他们开走了卡车，而在恍惚迷离间马库斯将车开到一条绝路上来。他与莉丝一同去寻求帮助，中途二人发生争吵后走散，他们各自遭遇着恐怖的经历。 与此同时，格雷格偶然打开卡车货柜大门，出来后性情也似乎发生变化。这辆巨型卡车仿佛有着难以置信的魔力，正残酷吞噬这四个年轻人……。Bang, bang, you're dead.
