一只迟到的足球，一个爱好广泛、啥都会捣鼓两下的乡村老师，一个见了足球头就大的老校长，一群精力过剩、自然疯长的草根娃娃，一场惊天动地的大地震，童年快乐刚刚绽放，便被悲怆湮没了，他们该如何走向未来……。这部电影以发生在冲绳阿嘉岛民宿中被饲养的雄犬“白”（Shiro）为原型改编而成。白为了与生活在对岸座间味岛的恋人雌犬“玛丽琳”（Marilyn）相会，勇敢地游过大海。这一感人故事启发了这部作品的创作。原作和剧本由野泽尚撰写。饰演白的主角是真正的白犬，而由于拍摄时真正的玛丽琳已经去世，因此采用了同品种的另一只狗来扮演她的角色。。A miracle independent film capturing the growth of a single baby over a period of 3 years.
