故事发生在东北某山区的老爷岭一带。日本在侵华的过程中，在此建造了一座化学武器库。日本军官畸田为了保护化学武器库，屠杀了整个靠山屯，小喜子等几个孩子侥幸脱线，加入了抗联队伍。其后，这些孩子多次寻找日军的化学武器库都失败了，但他们并不气馁不服输，终将日军的化学武器库给炸毁了。。On the morning of September 11, 2001, Paul McCartney was in New York City on an airport runway waiting to fly to Britain.
