康德公爵（让•雷诺 Jean Reno饰）是12世纪的贵族，这天他前来城堡与公主订婚，却遭到奸人迫害。他的酒杯里被投下巫婆的毒药，让他喝下了迷魂药。神志不清中，康德杀死了公主，被抓入大牢。仆人安德烈（克里斯汀•克拉维尔 Christian Clavier饰）去找巫师，让康德回到事件之前。但是，粗心的巫师却抓错了药，结果康德和安德烈去到了21世纪的芝加哥。他们遇上了康德的后人朱莉亚（克里斯蒂娜•艾伯盖特 Christina Applegate 饰），得知如果他们不及时回到12世纪，罗萨琳公主将无法复活，后人就会消失。但是安德烈却乐不思蜀了。他和一个女孩打得火热，并不大愿意回到12世纪。然而时间不等人，康德的归去越来越迫切，而安德烈却还在温柔乡里磨蹭。事情越来越棘手。。This is the second film about the detective Feluda (Soumitra Chatterjee) set in the holy city of Benares, where he (along with his cousin, Topshe and friend, Lalmohan Ganguly) goes for a holiday.
