欧阳中（王合喜饰）在某个暴雨天去市郊维修街灯时，意外发现了一个自己学生时代曾用过的旧式电话亭，他尝试拨出了一个号码，居然可以穿越时空，接通到二十年前就已去世的女友司徒心心（薛凯琪饰）。在之后的几次电话聊天中，欧阳回忆起在与心心恋爱时，常常因为心心家电话占线而误会心心与别人煲电话粥，冷落了自己。现在他才发现，原来那个曾经每晚与心心一直在电话里聊天的男人，竟然是二十年后的自己…… 欧阳回想起与现在的妻子（汤宝如饰）初次相识，就是在心心的葬礼上。然而却不知道，一个更大的秘密正在等待着他……。Nothing is more frightening, as the narrator points out, than a ‘time-rich nosy person’.
