“送王船”是闽南沿海村落中人们祈求国泰民安、风调雨顺的一种民间习俗。在钟宅每四年举办一届，2012年农历十月，一场空前浩大的“送王船”仪式在钟宅上演。本片以“造王船”和“送王船”为贯穿始终的主线：村民们卜选头家，为“送王船”争相出资出力，造船老工匠苦寻传承人，王船建造过程中接二连三出现意外，令人倍感压力。。The year is 1971 when the Pakistani Army is at war with the Indian Soldiers. The Indian battalion is posted in Longewala region in Punjab and are just 150 in number while the Pakistani Army consists of 2000 armed soldiers with tanks.
