山西太行山麓寨影沟大队，富农出身的赵有才自从当了大队会计以后，表面上很积极，背后却干着不可告人的勾当，队里一直怀疑他盗窃队里的小麦，但一直没有抓住证据。群众有意见，在大队的黑板报用打油诗批评他：“当会计，有意义，坐在屋里不下地，打打算盘拿拿笔，现成粮食送家里，说是干部算干部，说是懒汉也可以。”赵有才看了十分生气，找到党支部书记周老实诉苦，周书记对赵的假相早有戒备，对其进行了严厉的批评。赵心里不服气把账本交给周书记，甩手而去。正巧接替赵有才工作的姜喜喜来到大队部，使赵有才为之一震。姜喜喜是赵有才的姐夫，原来是田家川大队社员，抗日战争时期在八路军当过炊事员，立场坚定，爱憎分明。他来到寨影沟大队后，赵有才一方面认为姜与自己是亲戚关系，一方面认为姜的文化水平低，所以觉得自己的问题根本不可能暴露。姜和赵虽是亲戚关系，但姜不循私情，担任会计以后全心全意为社员服务...。Katherine of Alexandria, brought up as a nomad and living in the desert, was aged just 11 when Emperor Maxentius saw her whilst out on patrol.
