阿吉是海鲜铺的伙计，嗜武如命，又喜打抱不平，为老板若来不少麻烦。一日，他因见当地恶霸欺压乡民，而与他们发生冲突，后被师傅逐出门墙，在机缘巧合下拜在螳螂派门下学习螳螂拳，后师傅与爱人双双被恶霸仇家所杀，阿吉悲愤异常，神智疯癫，正好练成癫螳螂，无形中功夫大进，在铲除恶霸后，却无法复原，镇民为纪念他给他取了一个外号“癫螳螂”。故事发生在1939年，年轻的国王跟三位侍巨向全国宣布，三年内不接触任何女性并闭门苦读。但誓言却因法国公主及三名侍女的造访而瓦解，公主远道而来是为两国的经济关系，没想到却与侍女们误闯情关。片中四名男士从未尝过爱情的滋味，首次与公主侍女们爱得难舍难分。片中演员又唱又跳，具有三十年代的美国歌舞片风格。。At the beginning of the season Sylvia becomes pregnant with Andy's child.
