三年前，作为求职者的李爽，为了找工作处处碰壁，由于自己学历的问题，在这个社会中总是处在最底层的地位。今天的求职碰壁似乎让他失去了全部的力气，但天无绝人之路。就在李爽准备放弃的时候，凌紫看到了他的落魄，从而想到了几年前为了求职四处碰壁的自己。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
